Yvonne Meyer

Real Estate Professional

Native Texan Yvonne Meyer hails from Menard in the Texas Hill Country. A graduate of the University of Texas, she has called Houston home since 1966. More than 30 years ago, Yvonne began buying and refurbishing older properties to use as rentals. She has been actively involved in selling residential real estate for nearly 25 years. Her success has placed her in the Martha Turner Sotheby’s International Realty’s Circle of Excellence and the company’s coveted Hall of Fame. A special honor and one dear to her heart is the Houston Chronicle’s 2005 “Sold on Your Realtor” award, which was bestowed based on testimonials from her many past and present clients. Yvonne has also earned a GRI designation and completed her ABR designation.

“Real estate is the best profession I know,” says Yvonne. Each transaction is different, as each client’s situation is unique to them. Helping someone find their home, whether it is their first, third, or an investment property, is always rewarding. But, the rewards of this business are numerous. The friendships I have developed from my business are invaluable. My clients are my referral base. A referral is the greatest compliment I can receive. The first job is to determine clients’ goals and listening is a prerequisite to helping a client. I remind myself – daily – to listen. Giving excellence in service to each client is my goal.”

“My move to Martha Turner Sotheby's International Realty in 2003 was the best professional decision I could have made,” says Yvonne. The advantages I receive from my association with this company are advantages for my clients. The company believes strongly in continuing education, and the more knowledge I have, coupled with my increased ability to access information sources, means my clients are also more informed. Keeping up with market trends, technology and neighborhood concerns are important in helping my clients, and here at Martha Turner Sotheby’s International Realty we are given the tools to do this.”

A resident of Woodland Heights, Yvonne is an active supporter of the March of Dimes, Casa de Esperanza de los Ninos, and Opera in the Heights. Her son and his wife also live in the Heights with their infant son, making Yvonne a very happy grandmother!
