Vaughn Deasy spent over 30 years in the petrochemicals and plastics business. He held a variety of roles, from field sales early in his career, to marketing and business management, and eventually executive positions leading multibillion-dollar businesses. He and his wife, Anna, and two daughters moved multiple times around the United States and spent the last half of his career in the Houston, Texas, area.

As a native Tennessean and Southeasterner at heart, Vaughn's love for the Appalachian Mountains and temperate climate moved him and his wife to begin their search for a location to build their dream home. After thoroughly assessing multiple geographic areas in and around the Blue Ridge Mountains, combined with vetting a variety of planned community developments, they settled on The Cliffs at Walnut Cove in Asheville. Their home was completed in 2012 and they have been full-time residents since 2018.

Vaughn has built extensive knowledge related to the luxury market for lifestyle-oriented clubs and developments in western North Carolina. His strong commercial background and understanding of the decision processes in buying, designing, building, and selling make him an asset for our clients in this market.

He is an avid golfer on all seven of The Cliffs golf courses, enjoys motorcycle rides on our winding mountain backroads, and occasional fly fishing in our beautiful rivers and streams. On Saturdays during the fall, Vaughn will be following college football, particularly the Tennessee Vols. Most importantly, he enjoys his time with his family and friends.
