A native of Massachusetts, Van French grew up north of Boston in the town of Winchester and currently lives in the South End. Following high school, Van attended Brown University and Brandeis University where he excelled in soccer for both schools, and graduated with a degree in American History, with a minor in Sociology. Post-college, Van transitioned the relentless work ethic, competitive nature, and “team player” mentality he learned as an athlete, into a successful sales career. Working for industry leaders like Fidelity Investments and Pfizer Pharmaceuticals, Van constantly met challenging deadlines, exceeded aggressive quotas, and developed the customer-centric approach that he has brought with him to Gibson Sotheby’s International Realty.

Van realizes the stress of moving, and strives to make the process smooth and seamless for his customers. Van’s understanding of the Boston market, ability to negotiate the best deal, and passion for the job makes him invaluable to his clients and landlords. Living in the South End since 2010, Van has developed a thorough knowledge of the neighborhood and surrounding areas. Outside of work Van is a huge Boston sports fan, enjoys travelling and dining out.
