She holds a bachelor's degree in education and has taught for over two decades in every country she has lived including Canada, France, The Netherlands, and the USA. Her last teaching position was at the University of Charlotte here in North Carolina (UNCC). Her life-changing career move was a revelation. Accredited with a Global Mobility Specialist certification, she is also a member of the National Association of REALTORS®, North Carolina REALTORS®, Canopy REALTOR® Association, and the Worldwide Employee Relocation Council.

Fluent in French, she holds dual nationalities both from Canada & France. Additionally, Valérie sits on the executive team of the French American Chamber of Commerce of the Carolinas as the Ambassador of the Charlotte area.
