Tom Riley, an Associate Broker and Senior Global Advisor at TTR Sotheby’s International Realty, has been a consistent top producing Realtor throughout his 20 years in the business. Tom’s experience in residential sales reflects a wide array of properties in all neighborhoods and price ranges, in and outside of the Washington, D.C. Beltway. His experience began early on, with working a high school job at a family owned real estate appraisal firm based in Washington, D.C. Prior to launching his residential sales career in 2001, Tom had experiences in Commercial real estate management and multifamily financing. Tom has participated in over 400 residential sales transactions with over $200,000,000 in total sales. He has been a consistent Top Producer throughout his career and was recently recognized by Washingtonian and Bethesda Magazines for these achievements. The pinnacle of his sales career came when Tom joined TTR Sotheby’s Realty in 2014 after the ownership of his own boutique Brokerage, Riley Residential Properties, LLC., a small but powerful group of 10 agents. A large piece of Tom’s business has been associated with seniors, in unison with their families, to sell their long-time, cherished homes. Tom specializes in selling homes in Estates, Guardianships, Short Sales, and domestic real estate disposition, working in conjunction with attorneys, financial advisors, and CPA’s. Tom is a member in good standing with the Greater Capital Area Association of Realtors (GCAAR), the Maryland Association of Realtors (MAR), District of Columbia Association of Realtors (DCAR), the National Association of Realtors (NAR). Tom is licensed in Maryland and the District of Columbia. Tom’s past and present Community Involvement include Sponsorship of the Lilabean Foundation & Becca’s Run, each supporting families struggling with children’s cancer, The McKenna Center for the Homeless, the Washington Jesuit Academy in Washington, D.C., educating low-income communities from grades 4-8, as well as a Sponsor for Bethesda-Chevy Chase Rescue Squad. Tom has volunteered for various programs in for Washington Catholic Charities. Tom attended Gonzaga College High School in Washington, D.C. & University of Maryland, College Park. He is married to Mary Riley, also an Associate with TTR Sotheby’s, with whom he shares three adult children, Kevin, Michael, and Claire. Tom enjoys reading, walking, and spending time with his enormous extended family.
