Born and raised in Berkeley, Soraya’s knowledge of the Bay Area’s different cities and neighborhoods adds to her vast knowledge of the real estate market. As a professional realtor since 2002 Soraya has expertise in different real estate markets Seller vs Buyer and an equal expertise working with both Sellers and Buyers. She has found that real estate has fulfilled her passion for working with people; it provides projects that captivate her creative flow; it strikes a balance for her love of numbers, analysis, communication and negotiation skills.

Soraya thrives in creating partnerships and teaming up with her clients, she knows together they make for the most amazing results, her clients always have impactful and important input in creating a synergy for success. Soraya is a truly well-rounded realtor who is able to guide her clients with confidence, expertise and success.

Soraya graduated from Macalester College S. Paul, MN with a Bachelor of Arts in Speech and Communications. She built a career at a large multimillion-dollar catalog retailer under the umbrella of Minnesota Public Radio and Television, as a Technical Trainer, Soraya designed and implemented curriculum used for classrooms and on the job training for thousands of employees. She spent 10 years in the Twin Cities as a successful career woman and dedicated caretaker for her Grandmother Isabel, until she passed in 1995.

Upon her return to California and the Bay Area, Soraya spent 4 years in San Francisco as a professional recruiter in the legal support industry. Soraya's entrepreneurial spirit then led her to start her own business, Magnolia's Flower Shop. Her floral boutique expanded into a successful art gallery, which included Shoshoni sculpture shows, featuring the actual artists from Zimbabwe.

Finally, Soraya realized that Real Estate has captured her heart, and that it speaks to her strengths of helping people to find home.

In addition to her love in helping her clients to find home, Soraya is a member of a non-profit organization, 'Home for a Home', which builds houses for homeless families in Guatemala. Soraya contributes portions of her earnings to build these homes; her goal is to build one home a year.

Soraya understands that her clients are an integral part of meeting this goal, and knows that together they can make great things happen.
