Scott was destined to be a part of the “Aspen Story.” Born in northern California, raised and educated in Texas, Scott was introduced to the area in the early ’70s by his grandparents, who had a home in Snowmass Village. As a result and thanks to his outdoorsy parents, he was an avid skier, hiker and fisherman from a young age! He began his professional career in the mid 90’s as a television news anchor, reporter and producer for ABC, NBC and FOX affiliates in Colorado, Alabama, North Carolina and Washington State.
Yearning for more permanent, healthful and inspirational surroundings, Scott realized a life-long dream of living and working in the mountains by moving to the Roaring Fork Valley in 2002. First, as the news director for KSNO-FM and later, representing the local business community at the Aspen Chamber Resort Association. Capitalizing on his strong interpersonal and organizational skills, Scott earned his real estate license in 2005, quickly becoming a respected broker and top producer.

Scottis an Aspen Elk (BPOE #224) and a proud Eagle Scout. He is a former Board member of Blue Lake Preschool, is a former vice-chair of the Aspen Board of Realtors, has served as Realtor liaison to the Roaring Fork Conservancy, was one of the originalmembers of Aspen Young Professionals Association, and has served two local HOAs as President.
Scott has always been interested in the area’s rich history and loves helping his clients discover all the rewards of living, working and playing here in the heart of the Rockies! He considers himself lucky to have met his wife McLean, a Nurse Practitioner and owner of The Local’s Lab.Together they are parents to their beautiful son Bridger and two rescue dogs.
