Born in Raleigh, Sarah has generations of history in the Triangle. Her great-grandfather worked as a paperboy with his brother at the Raleigh Times in the early 1900s. As descendants of a local carriage maker, the teenage brothers delivered papers to supplement the family income. They would then go on to create a successful plumbing business.


Understanding the privilege that stems from her deep southern roots, Sarah believes everyone deserves the right to adequate housing, regardless of their background. Above all, she wants others to be as happy as she is when calling this place "home."


In a nutshell, Sarah is a self-proclaimed nerd with a passion for rescuing animals. As a millennial surrounded by technology for most of her life, her favorite childhood hobby was building houses in The Sims. This sparked her interest in architecture and interior design from a very young age, which helps her successfully market her properties today.


While obtaining a business degree at Appalachian State University, Sarah had the opportunity to work at some of the best places in the mountains, like Chetola, the Gamekeeper and App Ski Mountain. In fact, her fondest memories are from the ski mountain, because that is where she met her husband Monty Dunlap, from Blowing Rock. Together, they live in Raleigh with their three dogs and two cats, all rescued. Monty attends Tekken competitions while Sarah leads a large community in Final Fantasy XIV. Initially bonding over a love for gaming, they also enjoy riding their electric bicycles around town and indulging in great food.
