When you hear the word home, what comes to mind? Visions of get-togethers with friends and family? A safe haven where you can ‘let your hair down,’ put on your comfy clothes and relax? A place where memories are made and dreams dreamed? When you hear the word home, what do you feel inside…peace, happiness, exhilaration, relaxation, warmth, love, gratitude…? The point is this, a house is a physical structure that provides shelter. A home is ever so much more. I can find you a house, but I’d prefer to find you a home.

Since 2001, I’ve had the privilege and pleasure of helping countless families and individuals in all stages of life find their home. Residential home buying and selling is a highly personal business involving deep-rooted emotions, a sizeable financial investment, and a multitude of twists and turns along the way. My goal is now and has always been to make the process as seamless as possible for my clients. I do this by taking the time to ask poignant questions and listening carefully to the answers. Armed with this and decades of experience, I am able to anticipate what’s ahead and deftly guide my clients along their unique paths to home ownership or sale.

Has my approach worked? Well, I’m an award-winning, top producer and my business is almost exclusively comprised of referrals and repeat clients, so you decide.

Prior to a long-standing, successful real estate career, I headed up the marketing efforts for a number of high-tech firms and enjoyed a successful sales career with Kraft General Foods. I’ve called Northern Virginia home for the last 40+ years and know this area intimately. I’d like to say that when I’m not selling homes I’m doing something completely unrelated to the field (that would probably make me look a lot more interesting!), but the truth is when I’m not working you’re likely find me thumbing through a variety of home design books and magazines or watching HGTV while cooking (wait, that counts as something else, right?). I admit it, I’m a bit obsessed!

I’ll end by answering my own question. When I hear the word home I’m filled with combination of serene joy and immense calm. I have visions of special moments both big (holidays, parties, milestones) and small (quiet times reading bedtime stories to my children or dreaming about tomorrow with my husband). Home fills all of my senses in a profoundly simple way.
