Robert Callan, Jr. is a fifth generation San Franciscan with a natural love for all things real estate as both his grandfathers owned real estate companies as well as having multiple family members in the real estate business, including his mother and business partner Barbara. Robert is consistently ranked annually as a top agent in San Francisco, most recently being named as one of 2021’s top 100 Realtors in the United States with Sotheby’s International Realty, Inc. In 2021, Robert and Barbara were named one of the top 10 teams with Sotheby’s International Realty, Inc. in the United States.

Robert has always enjoyed athletics, starting as a small child golfing at the Olympic Club to running cross country in high school at St. Ignatius College Preparatory, continuing into adulthood running ultra-marathons and cold-water swimming in the Bay as an avid member of the Dolphin Club. However, currently Robert can often be found on his Peloton Bike.

Giving back to his local community is very important to Robert. Since 2000, he has contributed to his brother Geoff and sister-in-law Hilary Newsom’s charitable organization Plumpjack/LINK Golf Classic, which was created with the mission of raising funds to help educate and support people with cancer. Robert has also worked with the San Francisco Child Abuse Prevention Center/Safe and Sound as an Executive Board member and as an early Ambassador for EARN, an organization that creates opportunities for low-wage workers to build strong futures through asset building.

Robert's goal is to provide his clients with the best and most thorough attention and service. His tireless effort and enthusiasm, knowledge of the ever-evolving real estate market, and with his strong negotiating skills provides his clients comfort and ease during one of life's most important transactions.

Robert currently lives in San Francisco with his wife and two children.
