Oliver grew up in California. After graduating from the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising, he moved to Manhattan to begin his career in fashion. During a weekend trip to the Catskills, Oliver became enamored with the beauty and energy of the Hudson Valley, and in 2007, he bought an 1886 Queen Anne Victorian farmhouse in Stockport with his wife. But even after buying his first Hudson Valley home, Oliver couldn’t stop spending all of his spare time browsing listings of other interesting properties in the area, researching houses, area histories, and searching tax maps. Now as an agent with our Hudson NY office, he has found the perfect way to blend his two passions: finding interesting homes and helping people find them. Oliver and his wife are now in the process of renovating an 18th century farmstead in Ghent. A lover of design, architecture and travel, he has also explored the world extensively, almost reaching his goal of visiting every single continent— with only Australia and Antarctica to go. But his favorite place in the world is still the place he calls home: the Hudson Valley.
