A native New Yorker, Michael Cupolo’s passion for real estate began at an early age. After graduating from Florida Atlantic University, Mike decided that pursuing a career in real estate was the immediate next step. Once he moved back to New York, Mike joined The Heyman Team at Sotheby’s International Realty in 2015. Through their dynamic team, led by top-producing power brokers Karen Heyman and Alan Heyman, Mike was instantly immersed into the most lavish real estate in the world.

Mike has closed a significant number of transactions throughout Brooklyn and Manhattan, with a tailored focus in Dumbo, Brooklyn Heights, Cobble Hill, Boerum Hill, Downtown Manhattan, and the Upper East Side - closing condos, co-ops, townhomes, and new development sales. He specializes in high-end residential sales and leasing.

Extremely competitive, trustworthy, and conscientious, Mike never takes 'no' for an answer. He invests time in fully understanding his clients’ wants and needs and patiently explains every step of the transaction in a detailed manner. Mike firmly believes that the foundation for success in real estate is built upon having strong relationships and trust. He also understands the importance in making the buying and selling process exciting, enjoyable, and as stress-free as possible. Some attributes that set Mike apart include his ability to situationally adapt and always be available to clients any hour of the day, seven days a week. Communication and honesty are vital to him.

Mike is a proud sponsor of the ASPCA and participates in The Garden of Dreams Foundation, a non-profit organization committed to positively impacting the lives of children facing homelessness, extreme poverty, and illness. In Mike’s free time, he enjoys playing ice hockey and spending time with his wife, Jessica, and rescue dog, Kyla. He had a very successful collegiate hockey career both as captain and later as a coach. In his capacity as coach, Mike worked alongside many professional NHL athletes at the collegiate and prep school level. Being a coach further taught Mike to lead by example and the true value of working together as a team for common goals. Those life lessons have been particularly applicable to his real estate career, and being on The Heyman Team has given him the opportunity to continue these values and apply them every day in all facets of his professional and personal life.
