Mary Elizabeth Hahnfeld

Real Estate Professional

Third-generation Houstonian and Martha Turner Sotheby's International Realty Circle of Excellence award-winner Mary Elizabeth Hahnfeld provides her clients with excellent first-hand working knowledge of Houston neighborhoods. Her consistent top production, disciplined work ethic, and undeniably engaging personality have made her the recipient of company and industry awards including the Martha Turner Properties Hall of Fame and Houston Business Journal’s Top 25 Individual Realtors.

Although Mary Elizabeth is exceedingly unassuming, she holds the distinction of selling the most expensive home in River Oaks in both 2009 and 2010, non-MLS sales that remain two of the highest River Oaks sales to-date. Mary Elizabeth lists and sells luxury homes primarily in River Oaks, Tanglewood, the Memorial Villages and close-in Memorial, and West University Place. Her low-key demeanor and respect for everyone’s privacy make her especially suited for clients who call for the utmost discretion, and she is particularly adept at handling the requirements of international clients with sophisticated real estate portfolios.

Sellers benefit from Mary Elizabeth’s extensive market knowledge, enviable network of contacts both within and outside of her profession, and her ability to help them correctly stage their homes for their target buyers. She stresses the importance of informing buyer-clients about all facets of life in a particular neighborhood, from real estate statistics to shopping and leisure patterns. Mary Elizabeth strongly believes that this approach empowers buyers and allows them to make an informed purchase decision.

In addition to a busy real estate career, Mary Elizabeth continues a family tradition of civic involvement and philanthropy. She volunteers her time and talent for a number of organizations and served on the board for the St. Luke’s Friends of Nursing and worked with the United Service Organization (USO) to provide morale, welfare and recreation-type services to uniformed military personnel. Mary Elizabeth attended Duchesne Academy of the Sacred Heart, Mirabeau B. Lamar High School and the University of Texas, and is a member of the River Oaks Country Club. She is a mother and a devoted aunt to numerous nieces and nephews.
