Markus Thoene, a 45 years old native German, has been living in Barcelona since 1993 when he came to live and work in Barcelona “for a few years” after finishing his engineering and business administration studies at the German university of Paderborn. Before joining the Real Estate sector, Thoene, who as well joined a Management development program at the IESE business school and holds a real estate diploma of Universidad de Navarra, spent 13 years related to the automotive and IT consulting sector, where he served in different management positions from Financial Controller to General Manager Area Latina and Professional Services Manager Western Europe in multinational companies until he decided in 2006 to build his own company in Spain together with his business partner, Christoph Toelle.
