There is no place like home. No one knows that better than Marie DiCosola, who has dedicated her real estate career to helping clients find and create their perfect home. From navigating the intricacies of luxury properties to assisting clients with renovating older homes, to working with investors to purchase rental properties, Marie’s extensive background in residential property restoration as well as property development and management gives her a distinct advantage. Raised in South Chicago and now residing in Hinsdale, Marie knows the ins and outs of the Chicago metro area market and its suburbs. She and her family have been involved in the development and construction industry since 2001, as the DiCosola Group, building custom luxury residential homes. In 2008, the business expanded to include commercial real estate development and unique home restoration in Illinois. Throughout her career, Marie has purchased, renovated, leased and managed 120+ units across multiple properties throughout Chicagoland, and she is currently working on developing a 20-unit, luxury condominium building in Elmhurst. When working with buyers and sellers, Marie specializes in identifying the value in all types of homes; she has an eye for the quality of construction, level of finishes and flow of the design, and has a passion for helping clients find ideal properties for restoration. Of the real estate process, Marie says, “There’s nothing like finding a home that fits you. I take so much pleasure in helping clients find the perfect fit for them.” Before working in real estate, Marie spent 10 years as a pediatric physical therapist. “I understand what it means to hold someone’s most delicate possession in your hands. There is a different level of trust and honesty that I so valued then and have carried forward into my real estate career.” A first generation Polish American, Marie absolutely aligns with her hardworking, courageous and resourceful roots by continually exceeding client expectations and making transactions as smooth and seamless as possible. In her spare time, Marie is learning to play tennis, loves to run and balances her career with raising her four young children alongside her husband and business partner, Nick.
