Originally from Caracas, Maria Bazo has spent much of her adult life living in and loving New York City. Always fascinated and inspired by the housing market and with a natural talent for customer service, marketing, and sales, it was only a matter of time before Maria found herself excelling with Sotheby’s International Realty.

Maria joined the company in 2012 by participating in a mentorship program, operating under the tutelage of Serena Boardman, the highest-producing Sotheby’s International Realty independent sales associate. Thanks to this unparalleled learning experience, Maria has sold in excess of $124 million since joining the company. In fact, every quarter she has earned a place in the upper half of Realogy Brokerage Group's Top 1,000 Sales Associates, and her accomplishments have put her in the top 3% of Realogy Brokerage Group's 50,000 sales associates nationwide.

Specializing in residential real estate and new development sales, Maria is well-versed in a variety of neighborhoods, including the Upper East Side, where she is most active; Upper West Side; Downtown, where she frequently works; and Harlem, where she represented and sold out a new development project. For the latter, she provided pre-development consultation, strategic marketing advice and professional onsite sales.

From a perfect pied-à-terre to a classic townhouse or an investment property, Maria prides herself on helping clients find precisely what they are looking for.

When not engaged in real estate related endeavors, Maria enjoys spending time with her husband and three children at home on the Upper East Side or traveling internationally as a family.
