Linwood Bolles

Real Estate Professional

Global Real Estate Advisor Linwood Bolles brings a wealth of experience within the residential and commercial real estate buying and selling process to the Charlotte office of Premier Sotheby's International Realty. With over two decades worth of knowledge in the real estate industry, he provides a loyal and passionate commitment to his clients.

For over 25 years, Linwood worked with various entities to raise funds for an assortment of ventures, including commercial projects, residential developments and custom homes. During his career, Linwood has been adept at bringing together investors, developers and builders within his sphere of influence, resulting in the culmination of many landmark projects within the Dilworth, SouthPark and Uptown communities specifically.

A native Charlottean (a rarity these days), Linwood knows the city's history and can be quoted as saying, 'Charlotte real estate is who I am; it's what I do!' He is known for his iconic bowtie, which he has been sporting for decades — as did his dad. Linwood is a member of the Charlotte Regional REALTOR® Association.

As a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Linwood remains true to his alma mater. (His website is CharlotteTarHeel.com.) After seven years of playing soccer at two prep schools, Linwood played on the undefeated freshman soccer team at UNC-Chapel Hill. Much like he did in prep school, he also participated in cross country and track while at college.

Prior to his career in real estate, Linwood served six years in the Army National Guard and the Army Reserve. He then worked for a congressman in Washington D.C., eventually moving to Atlanta and New York before returning to his hometown, where he is blessed to be married and raise five grown children.

On a personal note, Linwood is a champion for at-risk children and served on the board of directors for A Better World Charlotte for over 15 years, including a term as chairman of the board. During his time with the after-school program, he mentored several great young men and women. All of them graduated from high school, with several going on to enjoy the college experience. Linwood volunteered at Myers Park High School as a mentor and works with families at The Harvest Center in west Charlotte. In addition, Linwood spends his time and energy with men in recovery at Charlotte Rescue Mission.
