Linda epitomizes energy, enthusiasm and hard work in everything she does. Linda entered the real estate profession in 2010 and has garnered national sales awards. She is known as a marketing specialist and is goal- and success-oriented with a personal relationship focus.

Linda's background mirrors her approach to life and how she works with clients. She was hired by Appalachian State University (ASU) in 1984 as their head women's basketball coach after serving in that same role at UNC Pembroke the previous five years. Following her first year as head coach at ASU, the NCAA named the ASU Mountaineers the most-improved women's basketball team in the country. Her ASU teams won numerous conference championships and went to the NCAA playoffs and the NIT.

Linda relates building a team and winning games to accomplishing buyers' and sellers' real estate goals through knowing how to develop and execute a plan to win.

After 13 years of coaching at ASU and winning numerous championships, Linda completed a Ph.D. and served as an associate vice chancellor in academic affairs at ASU for 12 years. In this role, she worked on a multitude of equity and diversity issues, including harassment and discrimination, problem resolution, and various aspects of hiring faculty and administrators. Linda is in the Athletic Hall of Fame at ASU, as well as at Mars Hill College where she obtained her bachelor's degree.

Linda has lived in Blowing Rock, North Carolina since 1984. She is active in various community organizations and endeavors. She is an active member at Grace Lutheran Church in Boone, has served on various civic boards, and is frequently called upon to raise funds for various organizations and causes.

Linda loves her kids, Shiner and Breeze, blue and red merle Australian Shepherd rescue dogs, respectively. She loves playing tennis, for pure fun and competitive league play.
