"From a young age, my grandma advised me never to rent property, and to buy as soon as I was able," said Lauren, who purchased her first home at the age of 21 and never looked back. She had a less-than-desirable experience with her real estate agent, and that drove her to become a broker. "I didn't want to be sold, I wanted to be educated so I could determine the best fit for me," Lauren said. Arming herself with vast amounts of real estate market knowledge so that she may best serve clients has been the driving force of her business. It also successfully got her through the 2008 housing crisis, wherein Lauren completed more than 350 short sale transactions.

Now, Lauren specializes in working with sellers who wish to list single-family homes and condos in the downtown Chicago area, as well as in the South Loop and Gold Coast. Her commitment to continually learning, as well as her innate marketing expertise has led to Lauren consistently making the top producer list as well as being named Jameson Sotheby's top 10 teams.

Not only does Lauren excel at prepping and marketing listings, but she's acutely able to identify and highlight the selling points of each home, earning sellers maximum profit on their property. "When I'm evaluating what a home needs before it goes on the market, I put myself in the buyer's shoes and ask, what would sell me on this home?" Lauren said. This method may explain how Lauren was able to sell a condo for $100,000 more than what the seller had been asking for with a different broker six months prior.

Lauren is driven by helping people, making a positive difference in the lives of her clients, and relishes the process of getting a home ready for market. Her communication style is outgoing and fun, but she's not afraid to be direct and help buyers and sellers be realistic about their expectations.
