Kelly Hill joined Scenic Sotheby's International Realty in 2005, saying she knew she had finally found her passion. As a certified public accountant and former financial auditor, guiding people with their investments comes naturally to her. Real estate investing, in particular, always captivated her attention. As a Broker associate, she is able to blend her passion with her formal training to thoroughly inform her clients before they embark on a significant financial venture. After vacationing in the area several times, Kelly moved to Destin many years ago from Memphis, where she grew up. At the time, all talk was about real estate. One of the first things she did was obtain her real estate license; the market in Destin was wide open then. A few years later, she earned a degree in accounting from the University of West Florida. After completing an internship in internal auditing at Southern Company in Atlanta, she began her accounting career in the audit department at Ernst & Young in Tampa. She began to miss the beaches and more laidback lifestyle of northwest Florida so she returned to Destin where she has remained ever since. She continued her career in auditing with a large, regional CPA firm, all the while investing in the real estate market. After being promoted to partner, she decided to leave public accounting and begin a full-time career in real estate, building on her audit and accounting clientele. Generally, the biggest investment folks make in their lives is in their home and she wanted to be a part of that process, connecting buyers with properties that both meet their wants and needs and will ultimately prove to be a wise investment for them as well.
