Native Houstonian and Sugar Land resident Kathy Park Carter has been a Realtor for more than 20 years. Kathy began her career – and learned the important ropes – working for a residential real estate top producer. It was invaluable experience, and she acquired the expertise necessary to become a successful real estate professional.

Kathy raised her family in the Tanglewood/Briargrove and Memorial areas before moving to Sugar Land where she lists and sells homes in Sweetwater, Sugar Creek, and other areas of Sugar Land and Houston. Always personable, enthusiastic and service-oriented, Kathy listens to her clients and makes their goals her priority. She has a flair for helping sellers stage their homes and buyers envision the possibilities of a home they may be considering for purchase. Among her fellow Realtors and clients alike, Kathy has a reputation for integrity, solid market knowledge and excellent communication skills.

Throughout the years, Kathy has maintained a strong level of community involvement, volunteering many hours for a number of organizations including the Heart Ball Committee, Muscular Dystrophy Association, Houston Livestock and Rodeo /Go Texan Committee, Texas Children’s Hospital, The Junior League of Houston (sustaining), M. D. Anderson Endowment for Patient Support Committee, and The March of Dimes. A 14-year breast cancer survivor, Kathy is a weekly Pink Ribbons volunteer at M. D. Anderson in the Breast Center.

Kathy grew up in Southampton, Tanglewood and the Memorial area in Houston and is a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin. She and her husband, an architect and builder, live on the Sugar Creek Country Club golf course. They share a family of five adult children and one grandchild. Kathy enjoys traveling, cooking, playing with her granddaughter, and “attempting to learn how to play golf.”
