Joya Anderson

Real Estate Professional

Gifted at lighting up a room and making people feel like family, Joya Anderson elevates the buying and selling experience with her passion for high-touch service and a love of beautiful homes. Using her knowledge of the Atlanta market, her genius for solving problems and her wide-open heart, she helps clients find the right fit for their needs and navigate a complex process with ease.

Raised in Rochester, New York, Joya attended Buffalo State University, earning a degree in broadcast journalism before relocating to Atlanta in pursuit of warmer weather. She learned conflict resolution and how to navigate different personalities working in customer service for a gas and electric company while trying to break into the broadcast journalism industry in Atlanta. Her career goals took a sharp turn, however, after she discovered and fell in love with real estate. A favorite memory from early in her career is helping a young couple look for a home and being handed the baby with the offhand comment, “You’re family now.” That moment embodies the tone she strives to set with every client—when you work with Joya, your family becomes her family.

Always looking for ways to bring people into her world and become part of theirs, nurturing community comes easily to Joya. Her great strength as an agent is her open, gentle personality that instinctively inspires trust and soothes rough emotions. Clients appreciate her ability to make tough conversations pleasant and convey honesty with grace. Dedicated to serving clients with excellence, she is known for being solution-focused in negotiation, approaching each challenge as a learning experience and cultivating friendships that last beyond closing. She especially enjoys working with families and those looking to downsize in the Roswell, Sandy Springs and Brookhaven markets.

Joya loves Atlanta’s nonstop fun factor, its warm weather and its proximity to nature. She is actively involved with HOPE for Domestic Violence, a nonprofit based in Gwinnett County, and she is also a former Buffalo Bills cheerleader. When she’s not working with clients, she finds relaxation in working out, going for a run in the park, bowling, hanging out with friends and traveling.
