JoAnne Hall

Sales Associate

JoAnne McElroy-Hall began her sales career in 1975. This college graduate went directly into sales and from early on she achieved high levels of success in her sales position. Over the next thirty-five years she enjoyed growing in the advertising and marketing arenas as well as real estate. JoAnne's media sales background was an excellent spring board for her Real Estate career. Understanding that it was not unusual for agents to be in the business for two or three years before accomplishing the status of Circle of Excellence, JoAnne reached this goal her fourth month in business. She finished her first year in the real estate business as the 4th Ranking agent in a company of 600 agents. In the late 1980's she moved into management as the Vice President of New Construction with one of the regions largest real estate companies. In her first year she took a small department with three new home sites to the largest profit center of the company with 32 New Home Sites, representing 19 Builders and generating over $19 million in sales in the first year. She is still sought out by these builders over two decades later to consult on sales or marketing projects. JoAnne's sales and sales management career covers a wide range of businesses. She has extensive experience in new construction, development, event marketing, traditional Real Estate, retail and the healthcare market. Since 1992 Mrs. McElroy-Hall has been called on by many major companies on the East Coast to help train their sales staff. Companies that have called on her as a sales trainer include The Virginia Board of Realtors and The Home Builders Association. JoAnne has incorporated the important 'technology world' in her sales business. This is key as she serves in the role of sales and management in the company she is a partner in. JoAnne believes you have to give back to your community. She has served as a Director on these boards: The United Way, The Response-Rape Crisis Center, and the John B. Dey Parents Advisory Board for Virginia Beach Schools. A very important part of her commitment to the community is the time she spends as a Volunteer at Spring Branch Community Church. JoAnne McElroy-Hall has high energy, a positive attitude and a practical approach to business. This combination puts this success driven person at the top of her profession. On more than one occasion, she has stated that selling her product is secondary to understanding her client's needs. 'We need to be respectful human beings first. I like being in the People Business.'
