Jennifer, a former attorney, educator, and small business owner, draws from her past professional experiences to bring her clients results. As an Attorney Adviser at the Department of State for nearly 15 years, Jennifer expertly represented the United States Government and the Department of State before a variety of international tribunals and administrative bodies. Along the way, she developed strong advocacy and negotiation skills, which she uses to better serve her clients' interests on either side of a real estate transaction. Having spent a handful of years as an adjunct professor at the Washington College of Law, Jennifer learned how to make complex issues understandable and uses that skill to guide her clients through the often complex home buying or selling process. As a boutique fitness studio owner, Jennifer prided herself on providing superior customer service and continues to do so in her real estate practice. Jennifer has an easygoing disposition, making those around her feel instantly comfortable. Professional and personable, Jennifer makes the home-buying or home-selling experience a pleasant one. A native Californian, Jennifer has lived and worked in Europe and Asia, where she has developed a strong interest in other cultures. She received her AB in English from the University of California at Berkeley and moved to the Washington DC area to complete her JD at the Washington College of Law in 1998. She has lived in the Washington DC Metro area for more than 15 years, off and on, residing in McLean, Arlington, Crystal City, Georgetown, and Spring Valley. Having moved cross-country and internationally multiple times gives Jennifer a keen understanding of the relocation process. Jennifer currently lives in McLean with her husband Jae, their elementary age son Charlie, and the family's two pugs, Hugo and Lilly. Jennifer is always on the lookout for a new adventure and her favorite activities include taking long family drives, exploring different neighborhoods, and sharing great meals with family and friends. When she gets the chance, Jennifer enjoys teaching or taking barre fitness classes. She also loves running, biking, and yoga.
