Ismael Abdelaziz has been involved in the luxury industry from a young age.

His grandfather began one of the biggest franchise jewelries in Ecuador almost 85 years ago and Ismael has been helping at his family’s stores since he was 14 years old. Upon turning 18, he started overseeing his parents’ flagship store, located in Downtown Guayaquil for two years.

At age 20 he moved to Europe to study Dutch in Centrum Voor Volwassenen Onderwijs (CVOTSM) in Mechelen, Belgium. Later on, he became part of a prestigious marketing firm called TforG in Antwerp, as an international market analyst in charge of the UK and Spain Markets. This experience equipped him with valuable expertise in research analysis and online marketing.

Upon moving to the United States, Ismael launched his career in the luxury hospitality industry. He has held various positions in the sales department of renowned hotels and resorts such as the Intercontinental Hotel, Marenas Beach Resort (Benchmark Hospitality) and Carillon Wellness Resort, a Leading Hotels of the World property. He has received specialized Forbes 5-star training and is an expert in dealing with high end guests.

During his hospitality career he realized that his business skills, experience and training, combined with a passion for networking, would make him a great luxury real estate advisor.

He later on decided to join AIMCO, one of the biggest real estate investment and management companies in the US, as a leasing sales advisor. His elite sales skills, combined with his impeccable client service, allowed him to soon to take on an overseeing role in his community. This helped him to gain more experience in management and customer service which in turn resulted in a promotion to multi-site leasing sales advisor.

Ismael is a professional with an ability to expertly drive any type of deal representing all clients with the utmost attention, discretion and focus. That is why he decided to join One Sotheby’s, a brand recognized around the world for its culture of exclusivity, competence and passion.
