From the first meeting with Geoff we knew we had an outstanding match for our needs. Geoff knows Vermont extremely well and was able to help us sort through what we wanted and where to look. He was a strong advocate for us, was always willing to answer questions and research the answer if he did not know. He always got back to us quickly and thoroughly. Geoff is the consummate professional. He checked on issues we did not even know to be concerned about and let us know. He was very respectful to all involved and went out of his way to make everything easy for everyone. The amazing EXTRA about Geoff is his extraordinary talent for architectural design. Geoff has his own design business so when looking at houses he could give ideas about possible changes to enhance the house. Actually, he blew us away with his design skills. A final note: A month after owning the house the weather was sub zero with high winds. We realized we were not sure how much heating oil there was, could not remember where the temperature was set and started panicking about frozen pipes. We were about to get into the car to drive 5 hours but called Geoff. Geoff drove (an hour’s drive one way) to the property, checked the house and shut off the water to prevent frozen pipes. All we can say is that Geoff went way, way beyond what anyone could expect from their agent. We are very grateful.
