Prior to real estate, Flint had a successful marketing career in the ski, bike, and outdoor sports industries and new business acquisitions, in addition to traveling with the World Pro Skiing Tour. It was this part of Flint’s life that developed in him a love of travel. He is very proud to have worked with many passionate brands all over the world including Thule Sweden, Bell Sports, Mad River Canoe and Merrell Hiking Boots.
Flint transitioned to real estate when invited to join the American Skiing Company. This was the moment of transition into his real estate career, which provided Flint with luxury ski resort real estate experience through 11 new ski-in, ski-out condominium projects at 9 resorts across 7 states.
His love of ski resort realty led naturally to Park City, Utah and an affiliation with Prudential Utah, serving as Sr. Vice President of Marketing & Development, on Prudential’s National Luxury Resort Board and spokesperson for Prudential during the 2002 Winter Olympic Games. Accomplishments included honor of Rookie of the Year, achieving ABR & e-Pro designations, his brokers’ license in 2 states, having multiple recognitions in The Wall Street Journal, & achieving sales into the top 1% of Prudential nationwide for his own luxury real estate sale achievements in Deer Valley.
It was in Deer Valley where Flint was honored to have been chosen to spearhead residential sales and marketing efforts as the Principal Broker and Sr. Vice President for Montage Deer Valley. At this point in his career, he and his sales teams had been involved in representing clients in excess of $2 billion in luxury real estate sales encompassing thousands of transactions.
Flint was honored to receive notable recognition for devotion to his community. He served on the Summit Country Service Area #3 and the Summit County Planning Commission in Park City and on the Park City Board of Realtors, MLS technology committee, and his philanthropic involvements were with 5 Park City-based non-profit organizations including the boards of Friends of Animals, Recycle Utah, The Park City Educational Foundation, The Deer Valley Luxury Home Tour and his greatest source of joy, with the KPCW Radio Station. He’s honored in being awarded, 2006 & 2011 Park City KPCW Volunteer Citizen of the Year and for his Leadership Park City Class 10 honors of their community wind power project. The latter resulted in his class being awarded the 2005 Envision Utah Governor’s Growth award for Park City’s Blue Sky Wind Project.
Flint, and his wife Gail, had the opportunity to return back to New England where they grew up. There Flint created The New England Real Estate Company in Camden, Maine, which he still owns and operates today. Then Flint and Gail chose the desert landscapes of Southern Utah as a home base for life’s newest chapter, entering his third decade in the industry.
Flint’s depth of experience and marketing expertise is a hallmark of his Southern Utah business, with a focus on the second home luxury market.
