Sometimes that is the first property you see, and sometimes it is the hundredth. The most important thing is for you to feel like it is the best fit for you, and the price it needs to be for you to be comfortable. My main objective when working with buyers is to ensure that they see all the properties that they want to that fit their criteria. Sometimes it takes an afternoon of looking at property to know what you really want. What feels right, and what criterion really means the most to you. I love going out that first time and really getting to know what is most important, so I can be on the lookout. For Sellers I really try to make the process as simple and easy for a seller as possible. Especially in this market, Sellers feel like they are constantly making concessions. I want to be honest and up front about a good strategy for marketing and selling their property in a timely manner. When I am listing a short sale, I follow the same guidelines, but also really try to educate the sellers about the process, their bank and what to expect. Every transaction is different, but there are a lot of really serious things to be aware of when dealing with a default on a mortgage or a mortgage that is being settled for less. I work very closely with attorneys to make sure that the client is always protected and knowledgeable about the transaction.
