Elena currently holds the position of Country Manager at Costa Rica Sotheby's International Realty, where she fosters the realization of the company's vision and oversees its comprehensive operations within the country.
She began her journey with Sotheby's International Realty in January 2008 as the Marketing Manager for the company's operations in Mexico and Costa Rica. Since then, Elena has been instrumental in the growth and success of the organization. She has held key positions, including heading the Project Marketing department and serving as the Sales Manager for a team that spans the entire country.
Elena earned her degree in Communication and Audiovisual Production from the University of Costa Rica in 2008, and later obtained an AAS in Photography in Austin, Texas in 2011. With a passion for strategy, communication, and creativity, she seamlessly merged her dual expertise to offer a valuable proposition to real estate developers, providing project marketing and consulting services for their ventures.
In 2023, Elena successfully completed the ASCEND Executive Leadership Experience, a year-long executive coaching program within Anywhere Real Estate, further enhancing her leadership skills.
Beyond real estate, Elena has diverse experience in planning, organizing, and executing events on a national and international scale. She has contributed to the success of companies such as GlaxoSmithKline and Intel, aligning events with multiple stakeholder objectives. Additionally, she has shared her expertise in image and photography as part of the teaching team at the Universidad Creativa in Costa Rica.
Elena's primary focus is on identifying and capitalizing on business opportunities, always accompanied by the right human team, to achieve defined strategic goals.
