Doug Lesky, originally from Chicago and a Nashville resident since 1999, began his career in real estate after years in the business world. With degrees in finance and psychology, Doug worked as the business manager for a market research firm in Chicago and then started working in the retail business as an operations manager, store manager and later as a visual merchandising manager. In 2003 he decided to pursue his long-time desire to work in real estate and has since worked with buyers, sellers and investors in Nashville and the surrounding areas of Williamson, Wilson, and Sumner counties. In addition to being an agent, he has played the part of real estate investor and rehabber, having worked on several different projects in the Nashville area, providing him with a unique perspective when dealing with buyers, sellers, and other real estate professionals alike. He is not only knowledgeable about the business and financial aspects involved in a home sale, but also understands the many varied emotions that people experience during the process. As a result, Doug has been a multi-year recipient of The Awards of Excellence from the Nashville Association of Realtors.

Outside of real estate, Doug graduated from the Young Leaders Council, an organization that trains individuals to effectively participate on the Boards of nonprofit organizations and make a difference in their communities. He has served on the Board of the Belle Meade Historic Site and currently sits on the Boards of The Housing Fund and his neighborhood homeowner’s association. He has served as Board Chair, led CEO searches, chaired various committees and has organized large scale fundraising events.
