Desha Hislop spent her formative years in the Caribbean, on the idyllic islands of Trinidad and Tobago. Growing up in a multicultural society, her appreciation, and love of different cultures, art and lifestyles has always been apparent. At the age of 18, she relocated to Washington D.C., where she attended Howard University, majoring in Marketing and earning her Bachelor of Business Administration degree. Her strong academic background enhances her ability to analyze statistical and marketing data, enabling sound advice and guidance to each of her clients.

Desha spent the next 14 years moving throughout England, spanning the regions of Newcastle to Southampton, Essex to London – while her husband pursued a successful career as a professional athlete. Their continual relocation fundamentally forging an organic path to her career in real estate. Desha’s success stems from this true appreciation, and an unrivalled understanding of the challenges her clients face during relocation. Her enthusiasm for design and creative outlook also serves as an asset in the preparation of homes coming on to market.

In 2009, after a brief period in Texas, Desha, her husband, and their 5 beautiful children finally settled and embraced life in New England. Now residents of historic Concord, they have attended the local schools, and have thrived in sport, gymnastics, dance, and every aspect of school life. Desha appreciates the roles that active involvement and a strong sense of community brings, both key factors that have helped her family along the way. Raising 5 children may have been the greatest contributor to her calm demeanor, a valuable asset when negotiating, and essential to ensuring that her clients have a positive experience throughout their transactions.

Desha’s experiences and travels have provided her with a unique and worldly perspective that makes her relatable to each client. Her work ethic and dedication to the success of her clients are key to the exceptional service she provides. She holds respect, and integrity in high regard, ensuring a positive experience for her clients as they find and connect with that wonderful house to call home.
