Before embarking on a career in real estate, David studied Communications and Political Science at the University of California, San Diego (UCSD), where he graduated cum laude.

David's passion resides in unearthing off-market properties for buyers and investors because he believes that's how he can add the most value. Eventually, David aspires to end up on the development side of real estate, namely ground-up new construction and development of new multifamily buildings near public transit. Given the dearth of affordable housing across California and his father's humble origins, he is passionate about transit-oriented development projects (TOD). He believes TOD is the key to creating greater housing affordability, which will contribute to decreasing greenhouse emissions and pollution, a win-win, in his eyes.

A San Diego native, David is bullish on the future of San Diego, particularly the downtown area. With a thriving biotech corridor and billions of dollars in new construction and development in the pipeline, he can envision a future in which San Diego is a prominent world-class city on par with New York and San Francisco in terms of name recognition worldwide. As such, a significant component of his business entails traveling the world, educating and informing investors and buyers about all San Diego has to offer.

David prides himself on his dedication to helping clients reach their goals and his ability to market properties and negotiate transactions strategically. He can effectively analyze and communicate complex real estate models and markets, contracts, engineering reports, and analyses, which helps him to expertly position and market properties to his network of domestic and international high net-worth contacts and clients.
