Jane Chefan was raised in Boca Raton, Florida and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Florida College of Journalism. In 1988, Jane received a Florida Real Estate License and later moved to Jacksonville with her husband, Jeffrey. They have two daughters and enjoy boating, playing tennis and traveling together as a family. Jane's expertise in luxury real estate was cultivated through designing and building multi-million dollar residences with her husband. From 1989 to 2009, the couple designed, built and sold over $75 million in properties through Northeast Florida. Since purchasing the Sotheby's franchise in 2009, Jane and Jeff and their partners have opened five additional offices - one in Ponte Vedra Beach, one in Palm Coast, one in St. Augustine and two in Amelia Island, including one inside the Ritz Carlton. Her knowledge of the area and passion for the business has enabled her to be one of the top luxury real estate agents each year, including in 2017 where she achieved top ten Northeast Florida Realtor status for homes sold for $1 Million and above. Jane's sales from 2015 to 2020 were over $130 Million. Jane, through her professionalism and dedication, is able to bring to every relationship an emphasis on exceptional service and a practiced eye for recognizing the unique value of a property. Jessica Chefan Hansen is a Broker Associate with First Coast Sotheby’s International Realty and has eight years of experience working in the Jacksonville market and it's surrounding areas. Born in Jacksonville, Jessica has firsthand knowledge of the city’s excellent culture, schools, recreational facilities, and many other amenities. Jessica’s parents Jane and Jeff Chefan purchased the First Coast Sotheby’s franchise in 2009 which served as a catalyst for her enthusiasm in real estate. In 2011, Jessica left Jacksonville to attend Florida State University where she pursued and achieved a dual major B.A. in Marketing and Real Estate. Since that time, Jessica has officially joined First Coast Sotheby’s and collaborated on over $170 million of company sales with her team, The Chefan Group. Additionally, Jessica holds the role of Operations Manager where she has implemented various software solutions and new agent trainings to achieve smooth business operation while the franchise expanded to new markets in Ponte Vedra, Amelia Island, Palm Coast, and St. Augustine. In her free time, you can find Jessica spending time with her family, playing tennis, boating, traveling with her husband, and going to Jaguar and Seminole football games. She has also run the Gate River Run the past several years and hopes to keep up this achievement into the foreseeable future.
