After working as a real estate appraiser for Bank of America, Barbara started an independent appraisal business with her husband in 1994. Following her years as an appraiser and successful business owner, Barbara combined her foundation in real estate with her outgoing personality and desire to work more closely with people, and became a realtor. Bringing her background as an appraiser, Barbara has the educated eye necessary to spot real estate gems and help clients find their dream home. With experience remodeling, staging, and building custom homes, Barbara can help you through every step and any stage of the home buying or selling process. With hard work, clear communication, and honesty, Barbara gets the job done from start to finish. Originally from the Bay Area, Barbara received her bachelor's degree from UC Berkeley. During her summers, Barbara worked as a river guide in Idaho, where she developed a love for the outdoors and mountain lifestyle that she carries with her today. After college, Barbara moved to Truckee to learn to ski. Once here, she never left. In addition to her professional experience in North Tahoe real estate, Barbara has the personal experience of purchasing and remodeling a house on the river, which became the home that she and her husband raised their two children in.
