Ashton Monroe has decades of firsthand knowledge in the real estate industry. Being raised in a property-investment focused household and living through dozens of real estate transactions from an early age prepared him for a successful career in New York City. Ashton carries this experience with him into his professional role at Sotheby's International Realty as The Field Team's downtown sales and leasing specialist.

Ashton is savvy, especially when it comes to working with first-time buyers or clients who are new to New York City. He has taken part in hundreds of transactions with The Field Team, the #1 globally ranked team with Sotheby's International Realty, Inc., and services clients through the Sotheby's International Realty global referral network and best-in-class marketing.

Ashton has seen almost everything imaginable in New York City real estate, having transacted in all price categories from $600,000 one-bedrooms to a trophy penthouse sold at $12,000,000. There is nothing he enjoys more than helping his clients achieve their dreams. Ashton has the honor of working alongside top producers, Mara Flash Blum and Nikki Field, who are often featured by national and international media outlets including MSNBC, CNN, The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, The New York Post, and Architectural Digest.

Ashton comes from a background in the entertainment and hospitality industries, working on film sets from New York City to Omaha. He believes the cornerstone to a great relationship is listening, understanding, and empathizing, which speaks to his success in servicing his clients' real estate goals. Prior to joining The Field Team in 2019, Ashton was a director of guest operations at a boutique hotel.

In his free time, Ashton enjoys traveling, recreational sports, playing music with his closest friends, and watching his alma mater, the University of Missouri Tigers (try their best to) win a conference game.
