She resides in Tarrytown with her husband and dachshund 'Captain'. She has two grown children who both attend college out of state. Allison is a member of Tarrytown United Methodist Church, volunteers as a committee member for CASA's annual Casablanca Gala for Travis County, mentors at Blackshear Elementary Partners in Education program and volunteers regularly at the Austin Resource Center for the Homeless (ARCH).
