Aldo uses his extensive experience in architecture, home building and prime locations to provide clients with an invaluable perspective on the merits of a property’s value as a home and investment.

With a B.A. degree in Political Science and certificate courses from the Alberta Home Builder Graduate Institute, Aldo pursued a career with his family's home building company. Since becoming President in 1994, Laratta Homes has built and sold over 500 custom homes in Calgary’s most prominent neighborhoods earning numerous Sales and Marketing (SAM) Awards, the Five-Time CHBA Builder of Merit and the ANHWP Golden Hammer for 25 Years for excellence in Customer Service. With a career focus on distinct communities, Aldo has extensive land purchase and home sales experience in the inner-city, suburban, acreage and recreation communities of Northwest and Southwest Calgary and surrounding areas.

For over 25 years, Aldo is proud to serve the community as a volunteer Football Coach for the St. Francis High School Sr. Browns and currently with the University of Calgary Dinos. Aldo’s dedication to amateur athletics was recognized by the CSHAA as the Volunteer Coach of the Year in 2016.

With a diversity of skills that include negotiating multi-million dollar transactions to “lacing up my boots” to find great sites, Aldo is excited to team with his clients in exploring the potential of real estate in enhancing lifestyle and investment goals.
